AHRS - G Plus
The AHRS G series opens the door to tablet PCs and Apple devices to display aircraft and engine information. Unlike the majority of mechanical gyros, our AHRS series is designed to work in full 360 degrees of pitch and roll with an unbelievable accuracy. There is an embedded Engine POD that allows you to monitor up to 25 gauges along with Static and Dynamic Pressure connections for a complete Primary Flight Display - Engine Monitoring System weighting only 14 oz! Use it hardwired to our high-brightness screens or wireless to an iPad with a plug-in wi-fi module.
Update! The AHRS-G Plus will soon be replaced by the new iLevil series of products offering more features and built-in Wi-fi support...
Is it the right EMS for your Aircraft?...
The answer is YES. We don't offer a standard Engine Monitoring System for a specific aircraft, we offer a complete EMS that you can customize to your airplane's capabilities. You decide which gauges to display, when to display them, what units to use and the limits of each gauge depending on your aircraft's engine model.
Can the AHRS be recovered during flight?
Yes, the instrument will settle after 3-5 seconds.
What if I don't have serial ports on my laptop?
You can use RS-232 to USB conversion cables to connect the AHRS box directly to a USB port on you computer
Where do I get the probes?
You can buy any off-the shelf probes. Van's probes are highly recommended. For a complete list of recommended probes contact us.
